Visual Testing Level I/II
Visual inspection is a common method of quality control, data acquisition, and data analysis. Visual Inspection is an inspection of equipment and structures using either or all raw human senses such as vision, hearing, touch and smell and/or any non-specialized inspection equipment.
During the classroom training students will learn the requirements to become Qualified & Certified to successfully perform Visual Testing. The course curriculum covers all aspects of Visual Testing such as, lighting requirements, direct & indirect inspections, discontinuity measurements gages, welding processes & their associated discontinuities, and more.
Visual Testing I & II classroom training is designed for those students that wish to enter the NDT Industry as a VT Technician. This class meets the classroom training requirements in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, & CP-189 and covers the body of knowledge outlined in CP-105.
