Liquid Penetrant Testing Level I/II

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to check surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics).
During the classroom training students will learn the requirements to become Qualified & Certified to successfully perform Liquid Penetrant Testing. The curriculum covers all aspects of penetrant testing such as, penetrant applications & theory, capillary action, dwell times, penetrant quality control, removal of penetrant, and fluorescent & visible applications, and more.
Liquid Penetrant Testing Level I & II (PT) classroom training is designed for those students that wish to enter the NDT Industry as a PT Technician. This class meets the classroom training requirements in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, & CP-189 and covers the body of knowledge outlined in CP-105.
