1st Annual Shoot for Comfort Tournament

This event is to help raise money for John 3:16 and their efforts to help the homeless. While the impact of COVID-19 has been devastating to so many people, groups like John 3:16 have struggled to keep donations coming in. 

Cost: $5.00 gate fee for attendees

Free Throw Contest: $20 per person

3 Point Shoot Out: $25 per person

Both: $40 per person

Details:

Contestants will be able to participate in one or both tournaments. The top 2 finishers in each contest will receive a prize.

Free Throw Contest Rules– This will be a 3-round event followed by a final round between the top 2 finishers. Each contestant will shoot 15 free throws in succession for no longer than 2 minutes. The top 8 moving onto the 2nd round. The 3rd round will consist of the top 4 and the final round will be with the top 2.

3 Point Shootout – Just like the NBA each participant will have to go around the horn and sink as many 3’s as possible in a 60 second time frame 5 balls on 5 racks will be positioned around the horn. One rack at the top of the key, one at each of the wings and one at each corner. The 5th ball from each rack will count as the money ball and be worth 2 points. This will be a 3 round event followed by a final round between the top 2 finishers.

1st Place Free Throw Contest - $100 visa prepaid card

2nd place Free Throw Contest- $50 visa prepaid card

1st place 3 point shootout - $150 visa prepaid card

2nd place 3 point shootout - $75 visa prepaid card

Door Raffle Grand Prize- Navic Drone. Raffle tickets are $10 each, 5 for $50
