About the course

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is a nondestructive testing (NDT) method of inspecting materials for flaws using soundwaves with frequencies higher than humans can hear.
Ultrasonic Testing Level II (UT) is designed for those students that wish to further their knowledge Ultrasonic Testing while completing the required 40 hours of classroom training.
During classroom training students will reinforce their knowledge in Ultrasonic Testing while covering materials & process, discontinuities commonly found with shear wave inspection, flaw sizing, code interpretation and more.
Ultrasonic Testing Level II (UT) course allows students who wish to obtain the required 40 hours of classroom training in accordance with SNT-TC-1A and CP-189. The curriculum encompasses the body of knowledge outlined in CP-105 in addition to hands on training.
